This was written for a 1 minute film competition. It turned out to be around 1:07 so is speeded up to fit into the time.We were using lavalier (clip on) microphones, but unfortunately a problem with the recording meant we had to use the sound recording from the camera, which is why there’s so much traffic noise. +
When I wrote the original Vox Pop I wrote too much for a 1 minute film, but we decided to film it anyway and make a second film from it. Fun film to make. I was not keeping proper notice of the takes we took, which meant for one scene the only take we had was not a good one, and had to patch it up. Worked out okay though. +
